(a): Loading charges on loans
- Right click on a loan and add charges. At this point, no entry goes to the books (ledgers)

(b): Loan Repayment
Payment will include charges:
Books are affected as follows:
DR - Bank/Cash (payment mode)
CR - Parking Fees (income)

(c): Payment to the parking company
This is achieved via journal.

DR - Parking Fees (Expense)
CR - Bank (payment mode)

(d): Net
Some companies would charge more fees to the customer than the one being paid to the parking company. In this case , the net will be recognized at the profit level.

1. On Power Financials window go:
2. General ledger/General ledger Transactions/Journals
3. Journal Vouchers window will open
4. Click on the open icon on the task bar
5. Search journal Batch window will be shown
6. On upper right-hand side of the window there are three Radio buttons: All, Posted and Unposted.
7. Select on posted button if you would like to delete posted transactions else Unposted button.
8. Right Click on the transaction you would like to delete then select Delete.

1. Go to Power Financials icon on desktop
2. Right click  on the Power Financials Icon then  select open file location option
3. It opens debug folder
4. Delete the license.xml file in the folder
5. Double click Power Financials icon to open system
6. A small form with a code is displayed
7. Copy the code and send to ctonui@gmail.com with the Subject "License Request - Name of the Sacco or Company"

1. Download the license file from your Email
2. Copy the license.xml file from the folder you saved to.
3. Back to Power Financials icon on your desktop
4. Right click and select open file location option
5. Pasted the file on that debug folder that opens
6. Ensure the file is License.xml if not rename as License.xml.
7. Double click Power Financials icon to open system

4. System user window will open
5. Click on the Open icon on the task bar, a list of system users will be shown.
6. Select the user you would like to reset his password.
7. Tick on Reset Password check box.
8. Click on save icon on the task bar to save changes.

1. On Power Financials window go:
2. File/Setup Information
3. Global Settings Window will open,
4. Below Company details there are several tabs Click on (SETTINGS II) tab
5. On bottom left of the window there is a setting of report path.
6. Click on the search button it will allow you to browser to report folder.
7. On report folder double click on any report on the list
8. Then you will redirected back to the Global settings window.
9. Click on save button to save changes.

3. Application/System Users/User Rights.
4. Select a user.
5. On the window the are several modules
6. Expand the module by click (+) to view other options
7. Tick on the respective right you would like to give then click on save icon on the task bar to save changes

1. On Power Financials window go:
2. General ledger/General ledger Transactions/Journals
3. Journal Vouchers window will open
4. Click on the new icon on the task bar
5. Description text will be generated on clicking new icon, changes can be made on the Description content to suit the type of journal you are posting. e.g:(Mpesa Transaction Cost)
6. Click on add button on bottom left of the window
7. Choose the GL Account you would like to Debit and put the amount then click on UPDATE button, Do the same to credit side.
8. Click on SAVE Button on bottom left.
9. You should always click new icon on the task bar before creating a new journal.

1. Click on Unposted Icon on the task bar
2. Post Jvs window will be shown
3. Tick on the check box to select the transaction
4. Click post button on the bottom of the window.
5. You can create as many journal as you have then post them at the same time.

1. To do a system update for Power Financials do the following:
2. Download the update file from Email Address (Comes as a zipped folder)
3. Extract the zipped folder
4. Open the folder (usually Debug copy)
5. Copy all files in the folder
6. Go to Desktop, right click on the Power Financials shortcut
7. Select Open file location option, this opens Debug folder
8. Paste the copied files and replace existing
9. Update now complete. Proceed to open Power Financials and confirm new changes.

1. We do it in PF Admin:

3. Application/System Users/Setup Users,
4. System user window will open
5. Click on the Open icon on the task bar, a list of system users will be shown.
6. Select the user who is blocked.
7. Checkbox named User Locked is ticked.
8. Untick the user locked check box.
9. Click on save icon on the task bar to save changes.

No mobile application:

1. Loan Limit
2. On Power Financials window go:
3. File/ Member Registration/ Members
4. Select the member E.g:RP008
5. Click on the print preview icon on the task bar, on the options, select Mobile Loan Limit
6. A form with the current loan limit is opened
7. Enter new loan limit 5,000
8. Tick on the Is Static Limit check box and save

Blocking and Unblocking member

1. On Power Financials window go:
2. File/ Member Registration/ Members
3. Select the member E.g:RP008
4. Click on Membership/Employment tab below member details
5. Inside the tab there is a check box named Blocked?
6. Tick on the check box to block member then save.
7. Untick the check box to unblock member then save.
